| Lone Tree is a
Michigan non-profit environmental organization (federal tax-exempt
status pending) with a constitution and by-laws.
There are five officers, two standing committees, and two
staff members. The Officers are elected yearly and all, including staff,
serve without pay.
The Organizational newsletter - the Leaf-Let, goes out to
members and interested persons monthly.
Funds are received from memberships, material sales (t-shirts,
buttons, cards and bumper stickers), donations, funding events, and
grants.
Meetings are held on the second Friday of every month at 7:30
p.m. at Delta College, Room J-137. These meetings begin with an hour
informational presentation followed by a business meeting.
The public is always encouraged to attend.
